Lynn M. Linkowski is the Director, Intellectual Property Operations NA for BASF Corporation and is based in San Diego, California. Linkowski, a registered USPTO Patent Agent, leads the US IP paralegal team and US enzyme IP team. Operationally, she focuses on regional processes and global harmonization, including law firm fee structures, billing, translations, and database and IP department workflows. Linkowski began her science and intellectual property career in small biotech companies, first as a research associate then as a patent agent, supporting all aspects of enzyme IP, including patent preparation and prosecution, strategy, opinions, and transactional matters. Linkowski earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from San Diego State University and an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America.
