Lisa K. Schroeder

Lisa K. Schroeder is an Associate General Counsel, Intellectual Property NA for BASF and is based at the company’s NJ headquarters.  Schroeder began her legal career at Lowenstein Sandler where her varied practice focused on patent prosecution and complex IP transactions. She then managed the North American legal affairs for a medical device company for 3 years, joining BASF in 2015 where she and her team support the intellectual property needs for a variety of business and research units. She also leads a team in Uruguay that handles certain US and Canadian transactional matters, the creation of which she supervised for the Global IP department. Schroeder earned a bachelor’s degree in Genetics from the University of Kansas and a juris doctor from Boston University with a concentration in Intellectual Property.
