Alison R. Bois is an Associate General Counsel, Intellectual Property NA for BASF Corporation and is based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Bois supports the Agricultural Solutions Division and leads a team based in the US and Canada. She recently developed a process for analyzing and cataloguing IP service demand by workstream and complexity to determine staffing sustainability and her team’s development needs. Bois began her legal career as an associate at Foley and Lardner’s DC office, primarily supporting biotech and life sciences clients in all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution, opinion work, and IP litigation. Bois earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Hendrix College and a juris doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
