Fernando A. Borrego is an Associate General Counsel, Intellectual Property NA for BASF Corporation and is based in Wyandotte, Michigan. Borrego began his legal career in-house at a large mid-Western consumer products company. Over the years, he has volunteered at various corporate and educational organizations, sharing his knowledge and skills as well as mentoring students interested in pursuing a career in intellectual property. Borrego earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University and a juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
