Mar is the general counsel and corporate secretary at Odeko, a company that provides comprehensive operations solutions to local coffee shops, cafés, bakeries and other small businesses. In his role, Mar oversees the legal, corporate secretarial, HR, and corporate communications functions. Mar also serves on the Board of Directors of the NYU Law Alumni Association.

Previously, Mar was the Global Head of Litigation and Investigations at WeWork (NYSE: WE), the world’s leading global flexible space provider. Among other things, he helped lead the company through a multi-year turnaround culminating in its public listing in October 2021.

Before that, Mar was a lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell, where he represented multinational public companies in high-stakes litigation, investigations, and crises.
