She oversees Eversheds Sutherland’s US diversity initiatives related to pipeline projects, recruiting, and retention. She also helps develop new strategic partnerships with the firm’s clients to help increase diversity throughout the profession. As an employee benefits and ERISA partner in Eversheds Sutherland’s Tax Practice Group, Vanessa works with some of the nation’s leading companies on a broad range of employee benefit issues, from comprehensive, company-wide benefit plans to the individual compensation arrangements that attract and retain key personnel. She also has significant experience advising large employers and insurance companies on Affordable Care Act (ACA), HSA, HIPAA, and other compliance issues.
