Mike Gill is the assistant general counsel and director of investigations at HII, in Newport News, Virginia. He oversees internal investigations, advising the company on legal compliance areas and managing litigation from HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding Division and other subsidiaries. Prior to joining HII, Gill served over 22 years as an Assistant US Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia and Northern District of Texas and as DEA’s Chief of Staff for Acting Administrator Chuck Rosenberg. Most recently, he served as EDVA’s Criminal Chief from 2018 through 2023.
