Conchita Valenzuela serves as deputy general counsel of the Confie group of companies, the largest independent auto insurance brokerage in the United States. Prior to joining Confie, she was VP, assistant general counsel at Starstone Insurance, an AM Best rated (A-) global specialty insurer. Valenzuela began her career in the New York City headquarters of the global law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf, LLP, where she represented and advised private and publicly held insurance companies in connection with regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, and structured finance transactions. Valenzuela is a board member of the ACC Southern California Chapter and the vice chair of the HNBA’s Corporate Counsel Division.
